AASTMT "Port Training Institute" Third Online Workshop

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Port Training Institute (PTI) series of workshops to discuss the effects of COVID-19 on maritime transport, logistics, education and maritime training sector, PTI organized the third Online workshop through the online platform (zoom application) that entitled: "Re-Qualification of Human Resources Capabilities to face Post COVID-19 Challenges”, on Wednesday 17- 6- 2020.
PTI third Online Workshop was held under the patronage of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, with the participation of speakers, experts and specialists from Port of Valencia Foundation - Spain and University of Genoa - Italy, Cap. Tarek Shaheen - Chairman of Alexandria Port, and Prof. Dr Akram Soleiman Al-Salami - Dean of PTI, in addition to (163) participants from (Egypt - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - Libya - Iraq), where the workshop emphasized on the socio-economic impacts of Covid-19 epidemic, the situation of shipping industry, logistics and global supply chains, as well as the proposed solutions to the future impacts of these crises.
