AASTMT President at “Facilitation of Tourism in the Arab Region” Forum
H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the “Facilitation of Tourism in the Arab Region” Forum that was held on Monday 24- 6- 2019, in Hurghada, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the League of Arab States in coordination and cooperation with the Arab Organization for Tourism, AASTMT and the International Labour Organization (ILO), with the participation of several Arab Ministers of Tourism and delegations from different Arab countries.
The forum comes in response to the decisions of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism which proposed a forum for tourism facilitation in the Arab region to raise awareness of this kind of tourism that deals with a wide range of people with special needs, as to exchange views and experiences on ways to remove obstacles, and to review the commitment of all concerned parties in the private sector and the public sector to provide services, facilities and support to overcome all the challenges.
