AASTMT Student’s Team "3rd Place" in "International MATE ROV Competition for robotic submarines" Finals

Within the role of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s (AASTMT) in supporting students’ talents, AASTMT student’s team won the third place in the final qualifiers for the International MATE ROV Competition for robotic submarines. The competition was held in the United States of America with the participation of 63 teams from 12 countries, with the support of U.S. National Science Foundation and Marine Technology Society.
It is worth noting that H.E. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy – Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports and H.E. Major General Mohamed Al Sharif - Governor of Alexandria honored the winning team in this competition on the sidelines of the opening of the World Modern Pentathlon Championship under 17 years which AASTMT hosts in Alexandria. As, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President expressed his proudness with AASTMT students achievements and wished them more success.
