Launching of "RIPPLE Entrepreneurship Centers Development Program"
Within the framework of extending cooperation bonds with various agencies to build the capacities of university students, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States inaugurated the launching ceremony of the RIPPLE Entrepreneurship Centers Development Program. The ceremony was held on Wednesday 26- 7- 2023, at the General Secretariat’s headquarters, with the support of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy –Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President. AASTMT organizes this ceremony in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Egypt, the National Bank of Egypt and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
H.E. the Secretary General praised AASTMT’s efforts in organizing this program which aims at developing entrepreneurship centers and encouraging young people to establish small and medium -sized enterprises. This is an important addition to the list of projects launched by the Egyptian political leadership to develop the entrepreneurship culture among youth.
It is also worth mentioning the participation of 30 universities in the activities of the (Ripple) program for entrepreneurship centers and business incubators, in addition to the participation of successful models among Egyptian and Arab universities which keep pace with the labor market’s requirements.
