AASTMT President Participation in the launch of the 59th edition of the Republic Companies Championship

H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the opening ceremony of the 59th edition of the Republic Companies Championship known as the Companies Olympics. The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Mr. Gawhar Nabil - Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon - Governor of Port Said, Dr. Amr Othman - Deputy Governor, Mr. Mohamed Othman Haroun - President of the General Sports Federation for Companies and Mr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz - Director General of the Port Said Directorate of Youth and Sports, in addition to the participation of executive and sports leaders, along with a large number of employees from institutions and companies across the country.

More than 23,000 athletes from various sectors participated in the 59th Port Said Corporate Olympics, which reflected the strategic goal of empowering youth and encouraging a culture of sports engagement among staff and employees in various industries. As, H.E. AASTMT President commended the government's outstanding support for the sports sector. His Excellency further emphasized the significance of this competition in promoting cooperation and competitiveness, bolstering physical and mental fitness, and strengthening Port Said's standing as a regional hub for significant national events.
