This course aims at providing an understanding of the practice of logistics in a retailing context. It builds on Basic marketing knowledge and explores issues and concepts particular to the retail industry. These include the customer-service provider interface, the special human resources environment that retailers operate in, the entertainment factor in shopping, the consumer behavior within retail stores and location analysis.
