Hair care products (3 Cr. hr)

Description

This course provides an overview of hair care products. Development and evaluation of hair care products, including shampoos, conditioners, anti-dandruff products, depilatories, and hair loss remedies will be discussed. It also encompasses the incorporation of natural products, advanced cosmetic ingredients (including bioactive peptides, growth factors, stem cells) and nanotechnology in hair care formulations. Furthermore, hair problems including hair damage, thinning hair, and heat damage will also be discussed. In addition to full knowledge on hair strengthening products and hair colorants, specifically henna and dyes.
