Program Description

The Master of Engineering (MEng) Degree in (Electrical and Control Engineering) prepare graduate students for higher level professional practice in local and international markets. It is intended for site engineers who wish to master the practice in their field of specialty. Students are required to present a Case Study Application: “6 Cr.hrs, ONE supervisor, and a final technical report must be submitted and presented to an internal committee” for degee completion

Learning Outcomes

  • Detailed knowledge in recent and practical electrical power and control engineering technologies especially in the fields of automation systems and/ or Energy Management..  Extensive knowledge in several disciplines of electrical power and control engineering technology (Ex: renewable energy, energy management and audit, automation systems, etc…)  Increasing the awareness of the local and global context in which electrical engineering is practiced.  Continuity to advance candidates knowledge and understanding, and to develop new skills to a high level in electrical power engineering.  Having the independent learning ability required for continuing professional development.  An ability to solve engineering problems, think critically, function well in a team, and communicate effectively.  A high standard of written and oral communication on technical matters.
