The program aims to: Provide advanced postgraduate education in sustainable blue economy and coastal-resource management. Prepare specialists able to support sustainable development of marine and coastal resources. Strengthen applied research in fisheries, aquaculture, coastal resources, marine ecology, ocean governance, ports, tourism, and sustainability. Connect scientific knowledge with blue-economy planning, feasibility, innovation, and professional practice. Support sustainable coastal development in Egypt, the Arab region, Africa, and international maritime contexts.

Learning Outcomes

  • Graduates of the program are expected to be able to: Analyze the principles and sectors of the sustainable blue economy. Evaluate coastal and marine-resource management challenges. Apply GIS, remote sensing, and research methods to blue-economy and coastal studies. Assess living and non-living marine resources in sustainability contexts. Develop applied research addressing coastal, environmental, and economic challenges. Support evidence-based planning for blue projects, coastal development, and marine-resource sustainability.
