Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy
1. Purpose
AASTMT is firmly committed to opposing and eliminating bribery and corruption across all its campuses. This policy demonstrates how AASTMT handles gifts and related conduct, and makes clear that all types of bribery, corruption, and unethical activity are strictly forbidden, regardless of whether they are carried out by staff, students, or any person working on behalf of the Academy.
The University expects all members of its community to uphold the highest ethical standards, and is dedicated to fostering a culture of honesty, integrity, and responsibility.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all academic staff and administrative staff across all AASTMT campuses.
3. Policy Statement
AASTMT is committed to conducting its business and educational processes in an ethical and honest manner, and to implementing systems that ensure an anti-bribery culture across the institution. The Academy maintains a zero-tolerance position toward bribery and corrupt activities, and is committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all academic and non-academic activities, whether on campus or in dealings with external entities.
4. Prohibited Conduct and Gift Rules
AASTMT does not prohibit modest gifts and reasonable hospitality given or received to or from third parties, provided the following rules are strictly observed. All AASTMT staff must adhere to these guidelines:

AASTMT is dedicated to creating a culture of integrity and transparency and actively encourages the reporting of any suspected or actual instances of corruption or bribery. Employees and stakeholders are strongly encouraged to report such concerns promptly through the designated reporting channels.
AASTMT is committed to protecting the confidentiality and anonymity of individuals, making reports, as appropriate. All reports will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.
6. Compliance and Disciplinary Action
Compliance with this policy is mandatory for everyone associated with AASTMT. Any breach of this policy will result in disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment or contractual relationships.
AASTMT is committed to enforcing this policy consistently and fairly to maintain the highest standards of integrity.
