TECHLOG Partner in Egypt signs Agreements
During the opening session on October 18th, presentations from various partners' representatives included one by Dr. Sandra Haddad, Vice Dean for Scientific Research, College of International Transport and Logistics at Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) about the TECHLOG Eastern Living Lab's aims and activities, as well as explaining AASTMT's capabilities and scale in terms of the number of campuses, colleges, and simulator complexes.
AASTMT will donate the participatory approach to provide every effort to work with logistics stakeholders to co-create at least one innovation/training initiative based on the use of advanced driving simulators. The co-design process will consist of three steps: analyzing Egyptian Global Logistics Company's innovation needs, defining innovation goals (Company and College), and designing innovation strategies (Company and College). A thematic pilot action to test and validate the proposed innovation initiative will also be also be considered.

Toward a Green and Sustainable Future Schools Initiative
According to the vision of AASTMT in raising new generations who know the importance of sustainability. Trough public Involvement by the child involvement, 7 schools from Alexandria participated in the initiative, this initiative started in Sep. 2022. In Aby-Qir Campus. This initiative is the first from its kind among Egyptian schools and universities. This initiative seeks to spread the awareness of the sustainable development among each child in these schools.

AASTMT and Bibliotheca of Alexandria Co-operation
This agreement was signed to enhance discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual experiences. Bibliotheca of Alexandria playing a vital role in raising awareness towards human rights and child rights such as decreasing child abuse through different workshops, initiatives and conferences. BA is available for each citizen inside and outside Egypt so not only AASTMT students will benefit from this agreement but also AASTMT employees too.

The Fifth Session of AASTMT, entitled "The Academic Vision for Dealing with Cyber Space," was headed by the President of AASTMT and overseen by the Egyptian government, represented by an Al-Azhar official. Addressing the potential and difficulties brought about by the digital age was the main goal of this session.

Finding opportunities for collaboration in areas of shared interest was the main goal of the meeting between the AASTMT and the president of Aswan University. In order to increase AASTMT's involvement in Aswan University's programs and activities, both presidents underlined the value of cooperation. Port Training Institute (PTI)
over the past 25 years, the Institute had offered more than (158478) training opportunities for foreigner trainees from more than 20 Asian, African and Arab countries. Hence, PTI became an International Institute in the field of ports and maritime transport.
PTI serves diverse local, regional and international authorities.

Promoting the Role of Youth as Active Change-Makers in Addressing Climate Change in Egypt Through Education” Uni-Green Project
Uni-Green promotes youth participation in climate change mitigation through an engaging multi stakeholder (universities, the private sector, community-based organizations, and government) process that enables collaboration among key stakeholders in the climate change space. Uni- Green aims to enlarge youth participation in addressing climate change by supporting youth led innovative entrepreneurial solutions with technical and financial support. The project enables interested youth to communicate alternatives and recommendations in a drafted policy paper on the role of youth in tackling climate change through community-based learning.

Digital Transformation Role in Training and Education Improvement
AASTMT with the co-operation of its external industrial stakeholders -in the AASTMT new Campus in New Alamein- with the attendance of Marsa Matrouh Governor under the name of “Digital Transformation”. AASTMT has signed many different memorandums of understanding with different industrial organizations in different fields such as EPROM, ASPEC, PEINSO and Nile Sat.
