Three Egyptian and Arab teams were qualified for the final of international submarine competition in the United States of America
The Egyptian and Arab finals of the international submarine competition was ended with the victory of 3 Arab teams, who will represent Egypt and the Arab world at the international final that will be held from June 22 to 25 2019 in Tennessee, United States.
The international submarine competition was held this year at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Abu Qir, Alexandria, from 11 to 13 April 2019 and the International Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Borg El Arab Innovation Complex and the Advanced company for the Energy Services(ADES), in the presence of several personalities, ambassadors from participating countries, representatives of the americain center for oceanography and Technology, plus the deans of Arab colleges who participated for more than three days.46 teams from different Arab universities such as Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia and for the first time with the UAE team of school students.
The winning teams that qualified for the finals in the United States are the Infects team from the Arab Academy, the MIA team, Robot team from the University of Alexandria. On the school level, the Robotec team from Alexandria, Spruffer team from Effat in Saudi Arabia, UTC from Tunisia, Tech from the United Arab Emirates, from 46 teams participated in the Egyptian and Arab finals at the Academy.
The competition aims to equip participants with many skills and experiences related to the manufacture and development of submarines, and provide them with the scientific and technical expertise necessary for the labor market related to this modern technology that is spreading around the world. .
the winning Arab teams in the international final of the competition held in Seattle, USA, last year were the Egyptian teams (Vortex) and the team (MIA) who won the first and third world centers among 45 other teams from America, Russia, England, Canada, China and Arab teams.
