Description/Outcomes Particle dynamics – systems of particles - Lagrange and Hamilton Equations – Impulsive response –Kinematics and Dynamics of rigid bodies - impulsive motion – Differential approach to equations of motion – Integral approach to equations of motion – Transpositional Relations.rn
arabic Description/Outcomes
objectives The aim of this course is to present the dynamics of particles and rigid bodies in some breadth, with examples illustrating the strengths and weaknesses of the various methods of dynamical analysis. In the course there is some emphasis on systems of great generality. Geometrical approaches are used to illustrate the nature of constraints.rn
