Description/Outcomes	This course is a part of the “Patient Care Cluster VI” dealing with the characteristics and use of drugs intended for the treatment of metabolic and psychiatric disorders. A problem-based learning approach is intended for this course. Through a series of simulated patient cases, this course trains the students to integrate pharmacotherapeutic, biomedical, pharmaceutical, and social and inter-personal knowledge and skills to offer patient-centered care. At this advanced level, students will be provided with cases representing patients with complex disorders and physical and mental health needs.
arabic Description/Outcomes	هذا المقررهو جزء من "رعاية المرضى - المجموعة السادسة" للتعامل مع خصائص واستخدام الأدوية المخصصة لعلاج مشاكل الأيض والاضطرابات النفسية. و المنهج التعليمي معد على اسلوب نهج حل المشاكل. من خلال سلسلة من المحاكاة للحالات المرضية ، وهذا بالطبع يدرب الطلاب على دمج العلاجيات، الطب الحيوي، والمستحضرات الدوائية، والمعرفة الاجتماعية وتبادل المعارف بين الأشخاص والمهارات اللازمة لتقديم الرعاية التي تركز على المريض. و في مستوى متقدم سيعرض على الطالب حالات تعانى من اضطرابات معقدة واحتياجات صحية بدنية وعقلية.
