BLENDED LEARNING ADOPTION IN MARITIME EDUCATION and TRAINING
The purpose of this paper is to identify the critical factors that affect intention to adopt blended learning in the maritime sector therefore the technology organization environment and technology acceptance models were examined to evaluate the adoption of blinded learning in the maritime higher education sector of the Egyptian context. A questionnaire is adopted from the study of Yuen and Shaheen-Majid (2007) and Zhu, et al. (2017) and regression analysis was conducted. Results showed that the management support and compatibility are the significant factors affecting Blended Learning Adoption. Also, knowledge sharing was found to be a partial mediator between management support and compatibility and blended learning adoption in the maritime higher education. The results obtained are critical for Blended learning to be intervening the higher education sector in maritime.
