All undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Computing and Information technology are currently accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.

The Computer Science and Information Systems undergraduate programs at the College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), at AASTMT Alexandria are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

AASTMT is among only two institutions in Egypt with Computer Science accredited programs, and the first and only institution with Information Systems accredited programs, as shown on the following links:

The Software Engineering program is following ABET’s Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) guidelines, while and Multimedia and Computer Graphics program is following the ABET’s Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) guidelines in anticipation for future submission.
