It is one of the specialized institutes in the field of studies of supply chains, trade, and commodity exchanges, with local and international partnerships with industry and major universities.

The Arab Institute for Trade and Commodity Exchange was established in 2009. The institute seeks to serve as a practical and professional reference for the finance and trade sectors, by providing a range of investment, research, and training activities with the aim of supporting the commercial sector in Egypt and the Arab world. The institute also acts as a window for global expertise through cooperation with other leading international universities and institutions in this field.

The Arab Institute for Trade and Commodity Exchanges grants a master's degree in science in the field of supply chains, logistics. It is accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities as an academic Master’ of sciences degree in commerce awarded by the Egyptian universities.
