The Finance and Accounting Department (FAD) at the College of Management and Technology aims to develop students'' analytical and behavioral skills which are necessary for success in the dynamic domestic and global financial environments. Finance and accounting involve the management of the varied forms of fund flows that occur in modern economic systems and the recording and analysis of these flows. Courses are designed to provide students with an understanding of the relationship between business finance and the economic system in the context of the management decision-making process.

The appropriate use of technology, new organizational structures, entrepreneurial thinking, and international awareness are integrated throughout the program. FAD prepares students for entry level and leadership positions in private and public sectors. Students seeking careers in banking, investments, accounting and auditing firms, stock market and brokerage houses,  corporate financial management, financial regulatory agencies, and real estate will find the finance major well suited to their needs. FAD serves the needs of students throughout the region by offering a program that provides local and global perspectives, promotes critical thinking and develops effective communication skills.
