Culture and Communication - New Trends

Culture and communication have a homologous relationship. Communication is intertwined with culture; they evolve together and influence one another. New media technologies and the digital domain have stimulated new communication trends, which in turn, have opened new horizons for cultural diversity and plurality of voices. Cultural diversity at the age of new media creates opportunities, results in new literacies.
Media platforms are redefined, new genres emerged, audiences’ participations are reconfigured and identities are fragmented. The aim of this conference is to capture the interaction between culture and communication in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
