Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag inaugurated the mobile testing equipment simulator and the renovation and development works of the main meeting hall at Port Training Institute

His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag inaugurated on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the mobile testing equipment simulator (Reach Stacker Crane) and Forklift. These equipment are the first in the Middle East used for lifting and testing containers and goods within container terminals, storage yards, dry ports, warehouses, and storages. He also inaugurated the renovation and development works of the main meeting hall at Port Training Institute.

The President of the Academy watched a presentation highlighting the institute's major events and activities throughout the year, providing a comprehensive overview of the institute's activities reflecting its strategy in providing comprehensive training services to maritime sector workers.

Prof. Alaa Morsy, Dean of Port Training Institute, presented a comprehensive overview of the events and achievements during the academic year 2023-2024 to the President of the Academy, as well as the efforts made by the administrative and academic team at the institute to enhance the educational and technical services to meet the needs of the labor market.

In his speech, Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar praised the efforts and achievements made during this period, emphasizing the importance of developing and updating the educational infrastructure and continuous work to achieve the highest level of education, research services, and consultations.

The name of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, was announced to be launched on the hall after its development, in appreciation of his great efforts, unlimited support, and effective contribution to the development of the academy and the enhancement of education and scientific research.
