1. Increasing awareness about the importance of patents and intellectual property.
2. Providing research capabilities for researchers in the various fields (databases).
3. Providing assistance in drafting a patent application and clarifying the procedures required to obtain a patent.
4. Offering guidance to resolve technological / technical / industrial problem through patent applications/ issued patents/ patents considered public property/ ideas proposed by inventors (databases).
5. Allowing training of cadres.
