Mechanical Engineering Department meet

Students from the Mechatronics Engineering department at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Port Said had the opportunity to meet their counterparts from the Mechanical Engineering Department at AAST Alexandria and the Electrical & Control Engineering Department, College of Engineering & Tech, AAST at the academy's main headquarters in Alexandria. All of these departments are under the esteemed leadership of Dean Professor Akram Suleiman Al-Salami. They participated in a joint workshop held at the academy's Alexandria campus.

The workshop was conducted by First-automation, a specialized company in control and automation systems located in Cairo. The engineers and experts from the company provided a detailed explanation on the design and use of control panels in electric motors. The students from the three departments carried out practical experiments using the company's equipment, which simulated operating and control systems within factories.

Upon concluding the workshop, the students from the Port Said branch, accompanied by Dr. Essam Sadek (Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department), Dr. Mohamed Fawzy (Head of the Basic Sciences Department), and Mr. Mohamed Justin from the Student Affairs Department, headed to City Centre Alexandria to have lunch and enjoy shopping in upscale stores, spending a pleasant time together.
