The Supply Chain Management Department is concerned with the study of logistics and supply chain management. Managing the flow of materials, products and information with high quality and efficiency within and between organizations is the basis upon which all industrial and service organizations in the whole world are based until customer satisfaction is achieved, and profitability rates are achieved, which then contribute to the development and modernization of goods and services. logistics management also requires integration between activities which have a significant impact on customer service, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, packaging, material handling, procurement, distribution, support services, and product returns.
A career in logistics and transportation allows you to oversee the movement of materials
A career in sourcing and purchasing makes you responsible for finding and purchasing materials through building contractual agreements with suppliers, keep track of materials within the inventory, finding goods and services at the best quality and price, select suppliers and maintain a good relation with them.
A career in manufacturing and production allows you to be responsible for the timeliness of the manufacturing and production of goods. you will be responsible for defining and implementing production strategies and maintain the volume, cost and quality of products
