Smart Well Completion

Description

This course introduces the concepts and technologies of intelligent (smart) well completions used to monitor and control production and injection from multiple zones. It covers downhole sensors, flow control devices, surface control and data acquisition systems, and their integration with reservoir management. Applications, design considerations and the economic benefits of smart completions are discussed.
