Graduation Project:  Modeling, Analysis, Fabrication and Experimental Investigation of Small Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine.

Supervisor: Dr. Mohamed Zakaria

Aim: To study well the small wind turbine existed in the renewable energy lab. Analyze and calculate some parameters for its blade in order to design a new blade with the same dimensions but with a new different air foil to increase the efficiency of the wind turbine. The calculations of the project were done via licensed MATLAB software program and for the analysis of the airfoil, Profili software was used and finally for the new designed blade the Inventor CAD and Q-blade softwares were used to draw and simulate the blade under different test conditions before fabrication stage.

Figures F.1 and F.2 Shows difference between the existing blade with the old design and the new designed blade with new air foil.
