Admission Requirements

Admission to the program requires submission of a copy of the passport or an English ID card, a master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a satisfactory academic record, and official English transcripts from all colleges, universities, or professional schools attended. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from instructors or current supervisors that attest to their qualifications for doctoral-level work. A statement of purpose, written as a reflective essay of approximately five hundred words, should outline the applicant’s goals, motivations for pursuing the DBA, and general areas of research interest. A current professional resume and a recent color photograph are also required. Proof of English language proficiency through tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, or the AASTMT language assessment is necessary. Additionally, applicants must pass the AMAT V.2 assessment and successfully complete an interview conducted by the Graduate School of Business.

The Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership & Administrative Studies integrates advanced coursework with supervised dissertation research. The program consists of a coursework phase, which includes 17 courses (including the Research Proposal) totaling 51 credit hours, followed by a dissertation phase comprising Dissertation I and II, a doctoral seminar, and research, requiring a minimum of one academic year and accounting for 9 credit hours. The total program requirement is 60 credit hours. Students typically complete the program within six to twelve semesters. Advancement to the dissertation phase is contingent upon achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 and the successful completion of all coursework requirements. The program is designed to cultivate advanced research skills, strategic leadership competencies, and academic expertise..
