The College of Language and Communication, Alexandria HQ wins 8 rewards in the largest international competition for graduation projects of media students, among participants of 100 Arab and African universities.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Prof. Dr. Abeer Refky Dean of the College, and Dr. Bassant Attia, Head of the Media Department, extend their sincere appreciations to their students for the awards they have won.
The Media and Digital Transformation Foundation, headed by the journalist writer Abdel-Gawad Abu Kab, announced the final results of its Arab and African versions of the media creativity competition is the largest at the regional and global levels devoted to media students graduation projects.
The College of Language and Communication`s graduation projects of the years 2020 &2021 successfully harvested eight prizes of The Arab and African category :
At the Arab level, the Radio and Television category ranked first for the “Alam Efterady” project, for the feature films and cinema category, "Fallacy" project, and two projects in the video clip category, the first place was the “Hobak Mawaal” project, and the third place was the “Basma” project.
As for the African level, the “Netr” project won third place in the documentary films category, while in the feature films and cinema category, the “Waraa Al Hekaya” project won third place. In the video clip category, “Mafish Mostahel” project won first place, and the “Shouf Masr B Enena” project came in third place. we mean"
In this context, Prof. Dr. Abeer Refky, Dean of the College, praises her sincere well-wishings to the faculty members of the Media Department for these outstanding projects and her graduates, wishing them growth and success.
She also extends her sincere recognition and appreciation to the great journalist & writer Abdel-Gawad Abu Kab, President of the Digital Transformation Foundation, for his efforts to make this competition distinctive in the Arab and African world.
