"4 Bronze Medals" for "Egyptian Team" in the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics

Within the framework of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s (AASTMT) support for the students’ talents, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President met H.E. Mr. Gergely Fábián - State secretary for Industrial Policy and Technology in Hungary and H.E. Mr. Mohamed El Shenawy - Egypt’s Ambassador to Hungary, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Ghada Labib - Deputy Minister for Institutional Development at the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Counselor Heba Negm - Egypt’s Deputy Ambassador in Hungary, H.E. Members of the Egyptian Embassy in Budapest, and a group of members of the international committees of the International Olympiad in Informatics. During the meeting, they celebrated with the Egyptian team’s winning in the 35th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) that was held from 28th of August to 4th of September, 2023 in Szeged in Hungary, as well as, they disscussed issues related to the World Championship that will be organized by Egypt in Sharm El-Sheikh.

It is worth noting that the egyptian team sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and trained by AASTMT, won 4 bronze medals in the IOI, where all team members have won medals, among 352 competitors participated in the IOI this year, representing 87 countries.
