The AASTMT Stakeholders Engagement Policy shows how AASTMT identify and the mechanism of the engagement process of the stakeholders.
AASTMT Stakeholders Engagement Policy
1-Purpose
This policy provides guidelines for AASTMT stakeholders’ engagement and communication. It ensures that AASTMT safeguards that stakeholder engagement activities are transparent, systematic, and effective.
2-Scope
The policy applies to all AASTMT activities with stakeholders including its employees and staff who are undertaking stakeholders’ engagement activities.
3-Policy Statement
AASTMT recognizes that stakeholders’ engagement is essential to support the achievement of its strategic goals and that different levels of engagement are required for different efforts.
4- Policy Principles
Stakeholders Engagement activities in AASTMT have the following principles
-Activities should be Communicated clearly with stakeholders.
-Activities should be appropriate and relevant to AASTMT mission, vision and strategic plan.
-Any Information derived from the engagement process should be open and honest, including results from evaluation activities and surveys.
-Stakeholder participation and their feedback should be taken into consideration and followed up in a timely manner.

AASTMT will develop a plan to engage with each group of stakeholders in an effective and efficient way. This mapping process is highly important because AASTMT will identify the most important stakeholders and those who have strong positive or negative effects on AASTMT Activities. So, AASTMT will make the best use of its resources by not over-communicating with groups that do not require the same level of attention as the high-interest and high-influence group.
5-3 Stakeholders Communication
Staff who are involved in stakeholders’ engagement shall plan the communications with stakeholders to guarantee the flow of clear and relevant information to stakeholders and to keep stakeholders’ engagement process effective and supportive. Thus, AASTMT uses different methods for communication with stakeholders such as Surveys, electronic surveys, satisfaction surveys, etc. Also, stakeholders' feedback is so important for AASTMT's future and activities.
5-4 Stakeholders Engagement Activities
AASTMT determines the appropriate engagement activities required and the level of engagement should be defined by the objective, outcomes, timeframes, resources, and levels of the stakeholder’s importance.
5-5 Action Plan and Continual Improvement
Staff involved in stakeholders’ engagement should identify opportunities from feedback and determine actions, revisit goals, and plan the next steps for follow-up the future of stakeholders’ engagement.

The Arab League Integrated Simulation Model
The model was launched in the main Branch in Alexandria. The vision of the model is to build the capabilities of the Arab Youth to complete the process of joint Arab action and to start from the actual reality to make a different. This Model will encourage the effectiveness of the youth in the participation decisions in different fields.

AASTMT President with South Valley employees meeting
As a kind of employee involvement, stakeholder’s involvement and employee participation, AASTMT President periodically met employees and listened to their recommendations, opportunities for improvement. Also, AASTMT president is on contact with the employees through effective public relation system within AASTMT.
AASTMT President met the faculty members, employees. In thus meeting the President met administrative and academic staff and also, the President met the outstanding students which will spread the soul of Democracy within the Campus.

As AASTMT students are considered the most important stakeholders for AASTMT so that, AASTMT always conducts meetings with students to listen to their recommendations, problems, etc.

AASTMT President met the Robot Challenge Egypt 2023 Winner
AASTMT president met the student Mohamed Tantawi the winner of the competition, the meeting reaffirmed the Academy's commitment to developing talent in the domains of robotics and technology. AASTMT seeks to empower the upcoming generation of engineers and innovators by encouraging invention and helping.

Nowadays, One of the recent important local stakeholders in AASTMT are refugees students (Sudanese, Palestinians, etc,) who AASTMT provide them with proper scholarships and training this showed in the following Two Initiatives
Training of Refugees Students in AASTMT
Within the framework of activating the memorandum of understanding between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (Industry Service Complex) and Caritas Egypt in training Sudanese refugees and other nationalities residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt to develop their skills in many different fields, and since the Industry Service Complex is currently training many Sudanese refugees Specializing in electricity, automotive mechanics, refrigeration and air conditioning.

“Bridge of Hope”
a joint initiative designed to empower refugees by offering them scholarships for bachelor’s degree programs. The initiative aims to create inclusive learning environments and facilitate sustainable solutions for refugees to build a better future through education.

2nd International Conference for Person With Disabilities
The conference is hosted by AASTMT with the cooperation with Governmental stakeholders to support the AASTMT local stakeholders (Students with disabilities) within the framework of PACES (Progression of Accessibility Centers in higher Education for Students with disabilities in North Africa.

To excel the educational services, the meeting was held with the participation of the large numbers of industrial entities in which different co-operation agreements between them and AASTMT were signed.

College of Pharmacy in AASTMT hosted the Community Day with the invitation for Mr. Christian Berger the Head of the European Union Delegation community day. In this meeting attendees from students and employees listened to a detailed presentation for the clinical simulation device (Body Interact).
