Grammar 12th Week Assessment Tasks – CLC freshmen excel in creating digital narratives of media influencers
In alignment with the CLC educational strategic plan reinforced by Professor Hanan Youssef, the college Dean, students continuously receive a balanced instructional input premised on theory and practice. CLC affords state-of-the-art knowledge and skills that students are expected to equip themselves with, in several integrated language and media courses. In response to the educational strategies of CLC as well as the measures taken against the spread of COVID-19, Dr. Nashwa Elyamany assigned students a digital narrative creation task. Students were to assume the role of one social media influencer they regularly follow and look up to. They created 2-to-3-minute videos to their fans, followers and subscribers on social media on a topic of your choice using ‘motivational’ language paying focused attention to the grammatical items covered throughout the term.
