The Main Library

The Main Library in Abu-Qir campus mainly serves the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Computing & Information Technology, the College of International Transport & Logistics, and the College of Pharmacy, in addition to performing all technical activities of acquisition and cataloging of all information media. The Main Library comprises a collection of books, in addition to Periodicals, Dissertations, and Electronic resources.
The Main Library building consists of 3 floors, and can host (225) users at the same time.
The first floor comprises the references, periodicals, and dissertations. It also comprises a computer lab for Library users to retrieve information from the Internet, Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and search our set of electronic resources.
The second floor comprises English books in the fields of: Mechanical, Marine, Construction, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, and International Transport & Logistics, in addition to a photocopy unit.
The third floor comprises English and Arabic books. English books are in the fields of: Computer, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering and Basic & Applied Sciences.
The Main Library's collection consists of (18148) English Books, (2387) Arabic Books, (37) Printed Periodicals, (1622) English Dissertations, (272) Arabic Dissertations, (27) Audio-Visual materials, in addition to Full-Text e-journals, e-books and e-dissertations. Photocopying services are available for all library users.

Sunday - Wednesday: 8.00 am - 6.00 pm
Thursday: 8.00 am – 2.00 pm.
Summer session:
Sunday – Thursday: 8.00 am – 2.00 pm.

The Architecture Library

The Architecture Library in Abu-Qir campus serves the department of Architectural Engineering & Environmental Design of the College of Engineering and Technology. It comprises a collection of the latest publications in architecture which consist of (3110) English Books, (372) Arabic Books, (204) English Dissertations, (53) Arabic Dissertations, (10) Printed Periodicals, in addition to Full-Text e-journals, e-books and e-dissertations.
The Library is equipped with (5) terminals for Library users to retrieve information from the Internet, Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and search our set of electronic resources. Users can also scan and save/print images from books or periodicals available in the library.

The Architecture Library can host up to (50) users at the same time. Photocopying services are available for all library users.

The Maritime Library

The Maritime Library in Abu-Qir campus serves the Specializations of the College of Maritime Transport and Technology. It comprises a collection of the latest publications in the maritime field which consist of (3212) English Books, (533) Arabic Books, (396) English Dissertations, (323) Arabic Dissertations, (12) Printed Periodicals, (4) Projects, and (3) Audio-Visual materials. The AASTMT’s Library is a depository library of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) publications: It has (649) IMO English publications and (63) Arabic IMO publications, in addition to Full-Text e-journals, e-books and e-dissertations.

The Maritime Library can host up to (50) users at the same time. Photocopying services are available for all library users.
