Four AASTMT Alumni make it to the FORBES 30 under 30 Middle East List.

 

 

We are incredibly honored that FOUR of AASTMT Alumni have made it to the Forbes Middle East 30 under 30 list in the categories of commerce and finance, social impact, and entertainment. A few days ago, Forbes Middle East published its 30 under 30 list for 2023 including four of AASTMT Alumni. Congrats to Bassant Hemeida (Class of 2018), Sara Samir (Class of 2021), Fady Ibrahim (Class of 2021) and Mustafa Abd Ellatif (Class of 2021).

 

We're grateful for our Alumni who continue to serve as ambassadors to AAST in reflecting on the real impact that we are dedicated to bringing to the community. For more than 50 years AASTMT has been dedicated to empowering generations. Today, we're grateful for our Alumni who continue to serve as ambassadors to AAST in reflecting on the real impact we are dedicated to bring to the community.

 

Bassant Hemida (Class of 2018, College of International Trade and Logistics) won a gold medal in the women’s 200-meter race at the Fanny Blankers-Koen Games in 2023, achieving a new national record of 22.41 seconds. She also earned two gold medals in the 100-meter and 200-meter-race at the Mediterranean Games in 2022, making her the first-ever Egyptian athlete to win gold in the 100-meter sprint. 

 

Sara Samir (Class of 2021, College of International Trade and Logistics) appeared under the Entertainment Category. Sara won the gold medal in the Women's 76kg category at the IWF World Championships in 2023, held in Saudi Arabia. She is currently ranked third in the 2023 Annual World Ranking of the IWF for Seniors in the 81kg category.

 

Fady Ibrahim (Class of 2021, Master’s in Management) has appeared under the Commerce and Finance Category. Fady is now the founder and CEO of Cropsa, an agricultural fintech startup that facilitates trading and supply chains between vendors, farmers, and agriculture companies. 

 

Mustafa Abd Ellatif (Class of 2021, MBA) appeared under the Social Impact Category. Abd Ellatif is the co-founder and CEO at EYouth, which have impacted the lives of over 1.8 Million students equipping them with essential skills for the labor market. It has raised $2 million from VCs and angel investors.
