The College of Language and Communication (CLC), Alexandria HQ graduates a new batch.
Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), students of the College of Language and Communication (CLC) presented and discussed their graduation projects at the main campus in Abu Qir.
At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Farag congratulated the students and welcomed all esteemed guests. He stressed that the Academy’s graduates are its best ambassadors and praised the students` perseverance to excel despite adversities faced due to the ongoing pandemic.
Prof. Abeer Refky, Dean of the College of Language and Communication (CLC), Alexandria HQ, expressed her utmost joy to be witnessing the graduation of the class of 2021. She said that the projects they presented “are the outcome of great efforts exerted during the course of an entire year, which is not new to the students of the College of Language and Communication. She added that "this college started as a dream that eventually came in 2012 with the help of Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, the godfather who provided all support, care and assistance to this college that has now graduated more than 1,000 students from Alexandria branch alone.
A number of public figures and professors from various universities in Egypt and abroad attended this event in addition to the jury which included Prof. Sami Abdel Aziz, former dean and professor of public relations and advertising at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Prof. Azza Heikal, AASTMT Vice President of Media Affairs, Prof. Sami Tayie, CLC President Consultant, Prof. Sameh Al-Ansari, Head of Phonetics and Linguistics department, former Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts - Alexandria University and Director of Alexandria University Information Technology Center, and finally the famous director Ibrahim Fakhr.
A number of celebrities, media professionals and distinguished directors, such as Karim El-Shennawy, Hossam Dagher and Amr Essam, also attended the event and highlighted that the students showed outstanding talents in their projects that included directing and producing short documentaries and radio shows.
