Olympic champion Sara Samir, star of the Egyptian National Weightlifting Team, AAST athlete and graduate of the College of International Transport and Logistics – Port Said Branch, in recognition of her achievement of winning two gold medals at the 2026 Mediterranean Games.
Sara Samir delivered an outstanding performance in the 77 kg weightlifting category, winning:
• Gold Medal in the Snatch, lifting 110 kg.
• Gold Medal in the Clean & Jerk, lifting 137 kg.
This outstanding achievement adds another distinguished accomplishment to the record of Olympic champion Sara Samir and further confirms her excellence and leadership in the sport of weightlifting, as she continues to proudly raise the name of Egypt and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AA
